Hello party people! It's Sister Robbins!!! This week has been full of amazing things and interesting places for lessons! We got to do a lot of work at the University of Louisville campus. We did a booth every day this week for institute and met some awesome people. It was definitely out of my comfort zone to be in front of kids my age talking about the restored gospel so openly. We got lots of judgmental looks and got asked if we were in a cult or polygamists haha! We actually had a full restoration lesson with the president of a frat. It made me miss college but working with kids my age makes me happy! We also had a full restoration lesson with a gas station worker named Bob who just moved here from India. It was in the gas station while he was working. We then had a restoration lesson in a kids play place and set our friend Barbara on a baptismal date!! I made it to Kentucky!!! Wowza who knew Kentucky was so beautiful. It's so green and the people are wack but a good wack. Our flight got canceled so we didn't get to Kentucky until 12:30 at night!!! I had my mission president interview at 2:30am, I was the very last. We went to bed at 3am and woke up at 6:30am to start our first day! I got 6 hours of sleep in 60 hours! I'm in a trio and I adore my companions! We are three bubbly blondes haha. Only difference is they sing 24/7 and I'm borderline tone deaf:) The people we are teaching are named Jinan, Timesha, Patience, Nneka, Cherish and lots more if that gives you an idea of who we are teaching. Hello people!!! It's been an amazing week here at the MTC. I am so grateful to be here I can't believe I'm already leaving. I have made so many friends who I'm dreading to say bye to but I'm so glad I met them. My week consisted of volleyball, Sister Anderson dropping mop water down 3 flights of stairs on our heads haha, my district leader looking like the Indian kid from Phineas and Ferb, Classes, feeling God's love so strong in the temple, Devotional from Elder Bassett, real diet coke (thank you mom), getting in trouble from the security guard for being outside when my companion was receiving a blessing, and soooo much more. Update, I am not sick of my companion, and I love her more and more each day. She has helped me through so much this week and if my only reason for being on a mission is to meet her, it would've been all worth it. Hey guys I am writing this email in the laundry room of the Provo MTC! I got here yesterday, and this is a pretty amazing place. I finally got to see my district and companion yesterday. As soon as I saw my companion Sister Ebert, we gave each other the longest, biggest, best hug ever and she bought me the sweetest gifts. We have already decorated our rooms even though we will only be here for 12 days, and I think everyone thinks we are a little insane because we are already best friends and practically the same person. I'll keep you updated next week if we are sick of each other, but I doubt it. I had some pretty tough goodbyes this week, but I am meeting some incredible people here at the MTC. I've already seen so many people I know here. It's been so fun to reconnect with old friends. Kinda feels like I'm at rehab or girls camp Haha.
