Hello my favorite people!!! If you read these, you are a trooper and I appreciate it. It's so fun to involve other people in my mission. This week had LOTS of hard times and LOTS of incredible times. Update: the bed bugs have been taken care of. Do not worry. Some highlights of my week was exchanges with my fav Hermana Stuart she gave me a haircut, getting boujee sushi with the Frews our favorite senior couple, the live event (it went well), interviews, when somebody we are teaching in their prayer said "I am so grateful for the LDS church and the missionaries", and going to the temple. Going to the temple was exactly what we needed. Our ward missionary came, and it was so fun being with her in the Celestial room because she has been an angel to me on my mission. Okay, let me tell you about this day....not our greatest day. Our Facebook business account got hacked. So, at the moment we do not have access to the Facebook account, and we can't run Ads. We think all our ...

Hello everyone! Can you believe I'm just out here living in Kentucky? I just think it's so funny. I'm just out here living with a stranger and teaching about Jesus. I love it.  This week was great, we found a new person named Michael and he came to church. We gave him a Book of Mormon and he promised to read it and showed up to church and loved it. It was probably one of my favorite sacrament meetings. My mission president and his wife came, and I was just sitting there next to Michael and thinking about the ward I'm in and how incredible they are, I love each of them. Then I looked at my mission president and his wife and thought about how close I have gotten to them. It was just a pure moment of joy where I was so content being a missionary.  Wait till you hear this! Picture this, we are 5 min into exchanges and Hna Midavaine said uhhh sister Robbins there's a bed bug on your shirt! Well, we put just about everything I own in the dryer. We found one more bed bug a...

Apostle & Updates W29

I'm going to start off strong.....we just got news that an Apostle is coming to our mission March 19th!!! We don't know which one quite yet. He is coming to Crestwood and speaking to our whole mission. I am stoked!  Also, some more exciting news! Remember Carlos and Sylvia that I talked about in my last email that I met in the Walmart parking lot? Well now they are on baptismal date for March 5th! Crazy. I'm so grateful I got to be a part of their story even though we can't teach them:/ We saw them at church and said hi and they looked so cute! Promptings are so cool.  Other than that, it has just been a crazy week. We planned a live event for our mission that was filmed in Louisville. I had to whip out my graphic design skills so enjoy the poster I made for the "choose him" live event below.   This week we had exchanges and I got to go to the sticks. Carrollton is a quirky little town just filled with your classic Kentucky people. Nothing brings me more joy t...

Right Place, Right Time W28

This week I was reminded that God is in the details!  For the past couple weeks, I've been having this feeling that there is somebody at Walmart that I need to meet. So, for the past couple Pdays I'm always trying to talk to people but haven't had success. Well, our MSF (funds) didn't refill on Monday, so we had to go on Tuesday. Right as we were leaving the store, I saw the cutest little Hispanic lady. I was about to drive away when I realized she looked a little distressed and the spirit told me to talk to her. Well, I offered her a picture of Jesus and she immediately ran over and told me she needed help! She said she had no food for her family tonight and her husband is out of work.  Luckily my comp speaks Spanish and I actually understood her pretty well! Her name is Sylvia, and she is from Mexico City! We got her number and told her we would talk to our friends and figure something out.  So, a couple hours later we pick up a frozen meal from the relief society and...
