Right Place, Right Time W28

This week I was reminded that God is in the details!

For the past couple weeks, I've been having this feeling that there is somebody at Walmart that I need to meet. So, for the past couple Pdays I'm always trying to talk to people but haven't had success. Well, our MSF (funds) didn't refill on Monday, so we had to go on Tuesday. Right as we were leaving the store, I saw the cutest little Hispanic lady. I was about to drive away when I realized she looked a little distressed and the spirit told me to talk to her. Well, I offered her a picture of Jesus and she immediately ran over and told me she needed help! She said she had no food for her family tonight and her husband is out of work.  Luckily my comp speaks Spanish and I actually understood her pretty well! Her name is Sylvia, and she is from Mexico City! We got her number and told her we would talk to our friends and figure something out.

So, a couple hours later we pick up a frozen meal from the relief society and ask for their address. We found the house and her husband named Carlos who is from El Salvador greeted us. He was so precious! You could tell they were really struggling, and he was so appreciative. We gave him El libro De Mormon and both bore our testimonies of it and the restored church. It was powerful. Well both him and his wife came to church on Sunday and have now had the first lesson with the Hermanas!!! I'm sad we won't be able to teach them but I'm so grateful the spirit prompted me to talk to Sylvia.

Another miracle! This week was transfers and I really wanted to give my old companion a dress because she always looked so good in it! Well, she lives in Louisville but was headed to Crestwood on Tuesday to do baptisms with the YSA. Since the temple is 5 min away from us, we met up with them! I got to see all my awesome YSA friends! S/O Caroline, Devon, and Matt! So, I gave her the dress and didn't think anything of it! I did notice a new girl there and apparently; she is inactive but came to the temple and was wearing jeans. She felt uncomfortable and didn't know if they would let her in! Well, my old comp said, "I actually have this extra dress sister Robbins just gave me would you like to borrow it!" It meant so much to her so I'm glad I was prompted to bring it to sis Jones that night!

Other highlights this week! I found 2 people on Facebook this week that we are starting to teach! Nathaniel my friend that we use to teach got the Melchizedek priesthood and got his temple recommend to take out his endowment! Ken got a calling and is now working on his temple recommend! So many people progressing!

The ice storm was crazy here! I am now the driver, and it was a little scary on the ice this week. We had to stay inside for 2 days straight. I look up to you quarantined missionaries so much! Other than that, we did hit Jimmy John's for the 10th week in a row. So, if you ever want to sponsor us;) HAVE AN AWESOME WEEK! Don't forget that God knows the details! He's aware and guiding you through, just don't forget to be worthy of the spirit and make it a priority to listen:)))
