Youth Music, Sprite, + The Lord W77

Hello friends!!
We had a good week in Louisville with lots of laughs.

I had my last MLC! It's been a long time coming. I've loved being on the mission leadership council. Something that I love about being a part of this leadership council compared to any other I've been on, is how much Christ is involved. Everything we do revolves around Him and trying to become a Christ-like leader. We got to give our "departing testimonies" I got up there and bore testimony about the person I'm becoming and how the Lord has had to break me in order to build me up to the person He has wanted me to become. It's been uncomfortable, that's for sure, but so rewarding. So when you feel the Lord is breaking you, it's because He has something better in store!

Robert, my deaf friend in Danville that lived in the exact same apt as me in Crestwood, got baptized! He sent me some pics! So, enjoy below!

Saturday was tough. Haha don't feel bad for me. I just feel like I only put the best parts in my email, but missions are hard. I've never seen so much rejection in one day. Every single lesson fell through, even our member meal. We got bashed hard core and told we weren't Christians by another lady and that she was going to convert us. There were three things that got me through that day. 1. The youth song, "I can do all things (reimagined)" we listen to it about 5x haha. 2. Mcdonalds sprite. 3. The Lord! Usually, he walks by me all day, but he was carrying me to the end of the day for sure! I felt so close to Him because I was relying on Him. Anyways, there ya go! A little look into some reality!

Lots of people this week kept saying, "God led you to me!" That was so sweet and a reminder of why I'm here. Ellen, our 96 year old friend was one of those people. During one of our lessons, she said our closing prayer and the spirit was so strong! She prayed that she would be able to help others feel the way that we have made her feel!

I spoke in church 3 times in a row! I really enjoyed this one though! I spoke about eternal truths and the difference between primary and secondary questions. And if you know the eternal truth that God is your loving Heavenly Father a lot of other little detail questions pale in significance to that eternal truth!

Highlights: we helped Terry clean her mom's house out! We tried on her wigs and laughed and laughed. She gave me some of her mom's old jewlery! We've had some really good studies with some new and returning members! S/O to Jennifer (my new fav), Diane, Bryant, and Amy! We do lots of less active work, which is awesome. We studied covenants a lot. During my interview with President, he did my temple recommend interview. He taught me how important the questions are, and they are really me accounting to the Lord to enter into His house. While he was asking me the questions I was pondering on this past year and a half and how confidently I could answer the questions now after all my experiences!

I love each of you lots! Please reach out if you need anything! Please pray for my cousin Scoty! She was in a 4-wheelering accident and her and my family could use lots of prayers.
