Sifa, Gloria, + Adidjah Baptism! W73

Definitely one of the best weeks!! I feel like I say that every week, but this one was special!

Sifa, Gloria, and Adidjah got baptized on Saturday! Highlight of my mission and my life! Everything went so smoothly and basically the whole ward showed up! I could not have felt more joy watching them make a covenant with God. There were so many people in white between Sifa's whole family and the people baptizing! I had so many moments where I felt so close to the Savior. Afterwards I hugged Sifa and she said, "We did it! I hope my daughters are just like you. Your mom must be proud." My love for this family is so strong. I wish y'all could've been there, it was day of true, pure joy.

Some Christmas things we did this week: Christmas Zone conference!!! We did skits, white elephant, and watched the Christ Child. It was so fun to be around other missionaries and hear their testimony of the Savior. Our district performed "Mary Did you Know?" We went to a Young Women's Christmas party. Relief society Christmas dinner. Went Caroling! My mom and Sister Wilson's moms are the best, so they each made us 12 days of Christmas presents we get to open each day!

We had a bit of a scare on Tuesday. Our friend Stephanie called us and said she was in the ER because she had a seizure. We immediately headed over. The lady told us we could only go back one at a time. Since that breaks mission rules we decided we couldn't do that. So we prayed and I had a feeling to ask the lady if we could both go back. She let us in but we couldn't tell anyone! It was such a blessing because she needed it. It was awful being in the ER with all those people. She told us that us visiting meant the world and she could move her legs after we left! She said we left a spirit there that helped her know Christ was with her. I love that we can do that as missionaries. We truly are set apart.

Our friend Jerrie took our invitation to give out a Book of Mormon this week!! She also told us she's so grateful we knocked on her door because we have got her through the hardest times. This made my heart so happy. I'm so grateful I get to represent Christ!

I finished Saints volume one this week! I highly recommend. My testimony of the restoration has been strengthened so much. Joseph Smith truly was a mouthpiece for the Lord. Nothing makes me more grateful than my membership in the Lord's restored church.
