Lifting Their Hands On Sunday W72

Hello friends that are still reading my weekly emails after 72 weeks. Y'all are the real ones! I got some good stories for you!

Ethan got his temple recommend and he's passing the sacrament next week!! It was so cute to see him stand up and everyone raise their hand. We texted his dad and asked how his interview went and he said, "Great, they are lifting the hand on Sunday, but just the right hand!" Love that family!

Kelsey! Back in August me and Sister Morse mass texted all the inactive members an invite to a relief society activity. We thought nothing had come from it. Until this week! We got a voicemail from Kelsey. She said, "Hey Sisters I know I told everyone I left the church but back in August, you sent me an invitation to the relief society activity. I told you I left the church, and you told me to reach out whenever. Well, this is me taking up your offer." We met with her the next day, and she is so cool! She was baptized in 2019 but left the church a year ago. She said that as she was comparing her life, she was so much happier when she was an active member. Her heart has been softened! So cool! You never know! 3 Nephi 18:32

Our weekend was rough. Let me tell you about one of the worst days on my mission thus far! I woke up at 5:30 and ended up throwing up. Well.... me and my comp woke back up at 6:30 and I told her. Turns out she had too during the night. We thought we had food poisoning, but we think we have one of those 24-hour bugs. I threw up a couple more times, but we had to get to work. So, we drove 1.5 hours to Somerset to train and do exchanges. Well, good idea, until we started feeling sick again. Our mission president told us not to do exchanges and we had to make the long drive home. I've never been so sick and never on my mission!

The next day we had 6 lessons cancel and it was just miserable but it's okay because this next week will be incredible, and we will enjoy it even more after this hard week. Sifa's fam is getting baptized next week!! So extra prayers.

There are just so many incredible people living in Lexington that I want to be just like. I learn so much from these members every day. Especially Sister Sais the senior missionary in our district. She has taught me a lot about Christlike love.
