Jesus Is Real W68

Hey Friends! We had a great week! I'll start off with a cool experience we had. We were teaching our friend at the park on exchanges, and we decided to walk around and try talking to people. I felt prompted to talk to this man, so we did! His name was Rafael. He was so cool and told us stopping him was exactly what he needed. We had a lesson with him on Saturday and he opened up to us! He said he usually rides the electric scooters at the park but for some reason it wasn't connecting to his phone the day he met us and now he knows why! So he could grow closer to God. He loved the Book of Mormon and wants to continue meeting. Even if it's scary to talk to strangers at the park, it's worth it!

Elizabeth, who I taught in my last area, got baptized last week. She asked for her records to be removed over 30 years ago. During that time, she knew the church was true and felt guilty. But she finally entered back onto the covenant path last Saturday. Timesha, a girl I taught in my last area, was supposed to be baptized last November. It didn't end up happening, but she got baptized this November. About 6 months ago I felt impressed to message the sisters there and tell them to reach out to her! I'm so proud of my 2 friends. I'll put pics below!

During zone conference, we watched the Book of Mormon 3 Nephi 11 video. Our president asked us to imagine ourselves there. I did this a few weeks ago during the sacrament. It's hard to describe the experience I had, but I tried to explain it to my zone. I just felt myself with the Savior and feeling so deeply in my heart that He's real. Everything I have taught for the past 15 months is true. Every time I testified of Him or taught about Him, the atonement became so real. I'm so grateful for that experience. My president told me I would never forget this Chapel because of the things I've experienced.

Just some updates, my brother is now bald (it's a long story), Chuys is officially the best restaurant, we had zone conference, had some great lessons especially with Ethan and Sifae + Fam to prepare them for baptism, Ethan's baptism is on Saturday, and we got to go to a Stake youth activity and judge the dance competition (highlight of the mish).

LOVE Y'ALL!! let me know if you need anything
