Fall In Kentucky>Being Sick W64
Well, the time has come. After having almost perfect health on my mission. I was soooo sick allll week and it is miserable trying to do missionary work while being sick!! So, this week has been kind of a blur, but I'll try and tell you all the good parts I do remember!
Our friend Charlotte decided to be baptized on November 6th! We are going to throw her a party and paint her nails before. She is excited and keeps telling everyone. Pray that her brother Gabi will make the name decision:)
As a mission we are really focusing on inviting friends to be baptized for 2 weeks. So, we pushed ourselves and had 4 spirit lead invitations. They are praying about dates so pray for them. My Comps are such power houses and I love teaching with them!!
Bonita came to church and loveddd it! During 2nd hour they were introducing all of our new friends at church and she looked at us and said, "wowww you sisters are really workin'!"
We had the best lesson with our new friend Sifae and her family! We taught the restoration and there is nothing better than reciting the first vision to someone. I got to do it so many times this week! Me and my Comps started testifying immediately after reciting the first vision. So, I gotta look Sifae in the eyes and say, "and Sifae I know Joseph Smith saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father" the Spirit was definitely there! Everything about the restoration is so true.
I'm sure lots more happened this week, but I was so out of it. I did notice that Kentucky is at it's peak right now because all the trees are changing colors, so enjoy my pictures below!! Also, we went to Chipotle with Madison it was so fun and we presented our ward mission plan, and they loved it. We've been working hard on it!
Here's a quote about Jesus because it really is all about Him. And He is the reason I'm out here. "Jesus Christ loves to restore what we cannot restore, heal wounds we cannot heal, fix what is irreparably broken, and compensate for any unfairness we have endured. In fact, if we let Him, He will consecrate our suffering for our gain and sanctify to us our deepest distress. He will not just console us and restore what was lost (see Job 42:10, 12–13), but He will use our trials for our benefit."
