Elder Kenneth W61
Helloooo friends!! I'm so grateful to be a missionary and have the best support group. Y'all mean so much to me and my heart is so full. Being a missionary is such a gift and I'm so blessed to have this knowledge. I get so excited to share what I know to be true every day. There's nothing more rewarding than being a missionary for Jesus Christ's restored church.
Okay I gotta give you the update on Kenneth and Risi because these two are on fire. We taught the Plan of Salvation, and they were shook. Kenneth was taking out his phone to take pictures of the cut outs and asking us all sorts of questions. Risi told us it just makes sense. As we were leaving their house a man ran over to our car. I stopped and rolled down the window. He said his name was Louise and asked if we were the church girls. He said he was Kenneth's best friend, and that Kenneth gave him a Book of Mormon. He said he's been reading it and wants to know more!! So, he's going to join our lesson next time! Kenneth is already sharing the gospel. That was a moment full of joy.
We got to teach Stephanie and Brian about the temple. It was so wholesome, and they are so excited to be sealed. I told them about my brother Corbin who's adopted, who I was sealed to. Stephanie asked if Brian and her stepdaughter Serenity will feel that same closeness even though they aren't blood related. I testified that she would because I feel that with Corbin, even though we aren't blood related! That family has so much to look forward to. Brian's working to get the priesthood and their new baby should be getting a blessing soon. I'm so proud of how far they've come, and you best believe I'm flying out for the sealing. I got a couple sealings to fly out to in the next couple years. They came to church and I got to sit by the new baby:)))
Okay I don't know if y'all remember Jerrie Moon. She is the apt 705 lady. We went and taught her the Plan of Salvation and another lady we were teaching in that apartment complex was late so she just joined our lesson. Then a man was listening in and while I was reading Alma 40 he said, "What book are y'all reading from?" We told him and he came and joined us. It was a whole group and we met another man that wants to join! So same time next week!
