Kentucky Is Greener Than Utah W54
Hello! It has been a rainy but beautiful week here in Kentucky. I need to talk about how beautiful Kentucky is more. It's so green. I went on my new favorite drive 2x this week! It's from Lexington to Richmond. I love that we aren't in a drought. One thing I don't miss about Utah.
Also, apparently I spelled snoop dogg wrong last week, my apologies. Thanks to Caitlin (Cat) for correcting me. We actually found new people this week so that was such a blessing.
Jade + Joann! So, this is the part member family we were going to play volleyball with. We went on Tuesday, and it was great. During dinner, the mom started bearing testimony of the church, restoration, living prophets, and the Book of Mormon. It was powerful! The spirit filled the room and I know her daughter felt it. It felt like it was probably the first time the daughter had heard her mom bear testimony. So, pray for Jade's heart to be softened!
Lincoln! We met Lincoln at Texas Roadhouse celebrating my one year. Well, he invited us to dinner, so we brought a member, and he brought another lady he met minutes before just for fun. So, he's already finding us referrals. He is hilarious! I can't write everything he said in this email so if you wanna know. Message me! He just kept complimenting the church and telling us he could see the light in our eyes! Towards the end he asked if he could ask a question about our faith. All the sudden he pulls out a Book of Mormon that he got at a Marriott hotel. He asked us to tell him the background of it and give him chapters to read. That was a miracle! So, pray for Lincoln to feel the truthfulness of the book!
We went to an indoor amusement park on Monday and got to ride a Rollercoaster and go laser tagging with the other sisters! After p-day we went to an apartment complex and talked with EVERYONE! We gave out so much media and 2 people told us we came at the exact time they needed us. We also got to play basketball in our dresses with a bunch of kids.
Lots of inactive work this week. Got to meet some not very nice inactive members who bashed on the church to us for awhile. It was tough. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Jesus faced rejection, so should I.
