I'm Going To Jesus Christ's Church?!? W49

Hello wonderful people!!! 

Happy 4th of July! Also, if you're a real one you know that the REAL holiday is tomorrow;) Let me tell you about my week. Somehow, we managed to go to Olive Garden twice. Forgot how good that place is. A lot of crazy stuff happened this week that I can't write in my weekly email but if you remember this ask me when I get home! I also got fed "ice salad" this week it's a Karen dessert. It was, peanuts, strawberry sugar flavoring, water, ice, jello, Boba, and bread! It just tasted like soggy strawberry bread. 

Tiffany! Our friend Tiffany asked if she could bring her stepson to her lesson on Friday. His name is Jayden (he is 10). He's got a personality! He was so eager to learn and told us he won't let anything happen to his Bible and Book of Mormon. We taught the restoration and when we recited the first vision. He said, "wow that's incredible" then we bore testimony of Jesus Christ's Restored church. He said "Wait, so you are telling me I'm going to Jesus Christ's church?!?" I said yes. He then said, "no way!!!" I wish all our friends got that excited haha. Tiffany and he took the invitation to be baptized! We are hoping we can start teaching Jayden's dad! 

We had lots of friends at church including 3 of the Swahili kids we are teaching. Donat, Maombi, and Alfrd came with their grandpa Sango. They loved it. During testimony meeting a man who was just visiting got up and started bearing his testimony saying all sorts of things he shouldn't. Telling us he was moving to Africa to find a wife to have kids with. He's like 65! I was squirming in my seat. He finally sat down and when testimonies were almost over, he went to get up again. I recognized what was happening and ran up to stop him from going up again. Luckily, somebody on the stand told him to sit down. So, I got up and just bore my testimony unprepared but you gotta do what you gotta do. Love when truck drivers pass through on fast and testimony meeting. 

We had church in Karen this week and we are starting to have them every two weeks now! It went really well. Our friend EhShee was able to come who's getting baptized next month and we showed her the font. I bore my testimony in Karen and thought I would share my testimony with y'all!
