Missions>Disneyland W12

Okay, missions are better than Disneyland and I'm going to tell you why! My family is in Disneyland, and I was having a little fomo.  Luckily, God is awesome and gave me the best week ever so I could realize this is exactly where I am supposed to be.

First off! We put Kevin on baptismal date!! It's so fun to see him grow and I'm so grateful I've been there the whole way. He told us he gets the chills whenever he feels the spirit and that's how he knows it's true. He makes me so happy and I'm so grateful we found him. All glory to God.

The best lesson I think I've ever had happened on Thursday with our good friend Jinan. She gave me the biggest hug and told me I was her angel. At first, she was so skeptical about meeting with missionaries now she has been teaching her friends and family the plan of salvation and she wants to be baptized!!! She showed up to church on Sunday and it was stake conference and she ate it up! Our mission president introduced himself and told her that everything we were teaching her was true. She said ohhh I know it. She loves church and says as long as her car is working, she will be there next week. She pointed to some elders and said that she wants her grandsons to be just like them preaching about Jesus Christ. So stoked for Jinan and all she's going to do.

We had a feeling on Tuesday to call our friend Denise. We were a little confused because we thought she was good, but we decided to anyways. I'm not going to go into much detail, but she was not okay. It was a very scary phone call and she kept telling us to not be alarmed and this will probably be the last time we'll talk. She kept telling us how much she loved us. We called our president, and he was skeptical about us going over there but he allowed us to. We drove over so fast and found her sobbing and not doing well. We were able to stay with her for 2.5 hours and holy cow some powerful things were said. I don't think I've ever cried that much in a day. I am so grateful we were there at the right time. Please pray for her!! Life is precious, make sure to follow the spirit and look out for others.

We also got to go to the temple and do baptisms. There's a new convert named Molly and it was her first time going so we got to go with her. She was asking me questions the whole time and she is just adorable. Crazy how much her life has changed in the past year. I had the most surreal moment during confirmations. I sat there and was just in awe of how cool missionary work is. I get a front row seat to watch miracles and watch people's lives change. This really is the best decision I've ever made.

Also, s/o to my sister for getting engaged!!! YSA update: we got 15 people to our first Bible study on campus!!! They asked me to use my personal account on Instagram so don't be alarmed if I'm on there, promise I'm following the rules!
